Responsibilities 1. To arrange material from stores to the shop floor as per requisition raised by PPC 2. To arrange for keeping supplies that come in after clearance from Executive - Receipt QA and plan for its storage in the Stores function 3. Plan for Inventory management 4. To set in place norms and criteria for storage of incoming material 5. To plan for rejection area in the stores such that incoming rejected supplies, either should be returned back to the vendor or should be reworked on 6. Planning for upcoming and regular spares, to achieve supply efficiency index 7. Ensure receipt and dispatch are online in terms of records, and all possible documentation is complete 8. Takes care of packing of spare parts 9. Will ensure scrap disposal at the best rates as and when required
